MAYHEM MILLER TO FIGHT ON STRIKEFORCE!!!!

Mayhem will be fighting on Strikeforce this Saturday night against Sam Stout. Not sure if this fight will be televised. Let's wish him luck and a quick return to a shot at the middle weight title.

RHALAN GRACIE SEMINAR ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT


On Wednesday night April 14th Relson's son Rhalan Gracie will be teaching class at Team HK. This will be a GI class. Rhalan is currently living in Florida & training under Black Belt World BJJ Champion Daniel Moraes. He is visiting Oahu for a few weeks and teaching seminars at various Relson associations. Cost is FREE to all Team HK students. $20 to non-students. Class will start at 6pm as usual.

Relson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Team HK Maryland

We are proud to announce that as of today April 8th, 2010 Team HK has opened a 3rd location. The 3rd location is based out of Timonium, Maryland. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Brown Belt Stuart Ramos is the head instructor there at the Tissue Brother's Maryland Martial Arts Academy. More information on Team HK Maryland will be posted soon.

UFC 111 @ Kanpai Sports Bar & Grill

Relson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Team HK will be viewing UFC 111 at Kanpai. We need to reserve seats so please sign up at class. Cost is $10. Don't think that you can show up that day and just sit with the team as seats are very limited. Make sure you reserve yours asap through Todd.

Relson Gracie Team Papakolea Fundraiser!

Kaleo Awae's Team Papakolea will be taking a team to the Jiu-Jitsu World Championships this year to represent Relson Gracie. So they will be having a fundraiser at 4 Play night club in Aiea on Sunday April 18th, from 3-8pm.

Music, Food, door prizes, raffels,& much more... This is a 21 years & older event. Tickets are $10. Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing a ticket.

SCRAPPA FEST 2 JIU-JITSU TOURNAMENT

Scrappa Fest 2 is gonna be held on the island of Kauai on Saturday May 15th, 2010. This will be a Gi & No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu tournament. Rules will start at 9:45am, Kids start at 10am, & Adult rules will begin around 12:30pm followed by them starting around 1pm.

Purple belts and above only have to pay $25 to enter.

Due to the Tsunami warning on February 27th, The Kimono Combat tournament was canceled by the athletic director of Pearl City high school.

CONGRATULATIONS BRIAN & MEL WONG!

Congratulations to the newly wed couple Brian & Melinda Wong! The two got married this afternoon at noon in the district court. They were taking a poll on facebook whether or not they should get married in their Jiu-Jitsu Gis. The votes were in favor of with the Gi but from the looks of this picture i guess it didn't happen. Team HK In-School Tournament this Saturday!

The Team HK Jiu-Jitsu In-School Tournament is this Saturday. This tournament is only open to Team HK members. There will be both Gi & No Gi divisions as well as Open divisions. There will also be a Purple Belt open weight class Superfight between challenger Kevin "Tangy" Tang & champion Zack Pang.
