WOMEN'S SELF-DEFENSE WORKSHOP WAS A SUCCESS!!!
Last night Relson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Team HK held a Self-Defense workshop at the University of Hawaii Campus Center. There was a really good showing, 85+ women and a few men were in attendance. Their ages ranged from 18 years old to 80 years young.
The ladies were taught simple and effective techniques using leverage to prevent an assault from a much larger and stronger attacker. The 3 main techniques that were taught were: 1) How to get away from an attacker that wants to take you to another location. 2) How to escape when someone is choking you while they are sitting on top of you. 3) How to get up when the attacker is between your legs.
