It is with great regret to inform you that the founder of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Grandmaster Helio Gracie has passed away. Team HK would like to show their respects by continuing to preserve the martial art that has changed so many lives around the world for the better. you are correct. guys who like to play no gi more usually are less technical. they don't like the fact that the gi slows them down.

renzo once told us at a seminar. training with a gi and no gi is like having sex with a condom... just cuz it feels better, doesn't mean that it's better for you.
